During 2025 our association proposed various activities as we celebrated 10 years of engagement to improve life conditions of marginalized children in Tanzania. We could collect enough funds, with the help of the Region Grand Est, to start drilling in January 2026.
The necessary surveys and analysis have been finished in July-August 2025. There was no problem to find water in the place designed for drilling. They continued until 140 m to ensure water even during very dry season. The quality of water is satisfactory, flushing has been completed, now we can proceed to the next step, which consists of buying a pump and a solar system to operate the pump, we need pipes to bring the water to the village Matala A as well as 2 simtanks to stock the water for daily use.
During Lenten season our project for Matala has been adopted for international solidarity within the Parish of la Meinau in Strasbourg. We collect funds by proposing soups every Tuesday and on March 24th we propose un event in the Parish to présent our project by pictures and videos, share some rice, beens and fruits together.
